AT&T has confirmed today that it will begin selling the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone and Galaxy Gear smart watch beginning October 4. The Galaxy Note 3 will be available for $299.99 when purchased with a two-year agreement or an extra $35 per month added to a monthly bill when purchased with an AT&T Next plan. The device costs $725 if purchased in full.
Customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Note 3 will receive their devices this week as the phone ships starting tomorrow, October 1. The Galaxy Gear, which retails for $299, will also be available online and in stores. The Gear is currently compatible only with the Galaxy Note 3, but Samsung has plans to offer support for more Galaxy devices through software updates to select smartphones in the near future.
